Associate Product Manager

Ian Li

Ian Li is an enthusiastic Associate Product Manager at Websters and a fourth-year student at Queen’s Smith School of Business. Ian is passionate about learning new things and eagerly seizes every opportunity to expand his knowledge and skills. His role at Websters involves assisting SparkCraft’s project and product managers, working closely with engineers and designers to ensure that projects and products are delivered to clients effectively and efficiently.

Ian’s current internship at Sparkcraft has him deeply involved in strategy and operations, accounting, and project management. His hands-on approach and collaborative spirit have been instrumental in driving project success. In addition to his role at Websters, Ian is also the Logistics Coordinator for the Queen’s Asian Students Association, where he manages logistics to ensure smooth operations and successful events.

As the Cultures Director at Q.Clean and the Operations Director at Queen’s Startup Summit, Ian has demonstrated his leadership and organizational skills, overseeing various aspects of these initiatives to ensure their success. His role as Engagement Director at Queen’s Global China Connection further highlights his ability to foster connections and drive engagement within the community.

Previously, Ian served as a Logistics Coordinator for the CUTC Foundation and the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition, where he played a key role in planning and executing events, managing logistics, and ensuring successful outcomes. His experience as a Brand Ambassador for the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition involved promoting the competition and engaging with participants to enhance their experience.

Ian’s background also includes roles as a Summer Camp Counselor and Skate Instructor for the City of Markham, where he planned and instructed recreational programs for children. His involvement with the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham as a Project Manager for the Taste of Asia Festival demonstrates his ability to organize and execute large-scale community events.

With a diverse range of experiences in project management, strategy, operations, and community engagement, Ian Li brings a well-rounded skill set to his role at Websters. His dedication to learning and passion for making meaningful contributions make him a valuable asset to the team, driving innovation and excellence in every project he undertakes.
